Kulnara is an aboriginal meaning for “up in the clouds.” Kulnara Cattle Dogs of Chamonix, France is a small kennel nestled in Servoz, Chamonix – in the French Alps, just an hour from Geneva and Annecy.
“Kulnara Cattle Dogs of Chamonix” is run by Gemma and Paul Rogerson, with the mission to produce sound and healthy Australian Cattle Dogs with wonderful temperaments – our Australian Cattle Dogs live in our house with us and come everywhere with us… they are truly part of the family. All of our Australian Cattle Dogs do agility and basic obedience. We do go to shows but mostly, we enjoy spending time with them in the outdoors ( and so do they!)
Bundy, our wonderful male Cattle Dog, has spent a fun summer herding sheep in North France with a trainer. The other Australian Cattle Dogs here in Chamonix practice their herding skills by herding each other and their friends too!
Over the past few years we have learned a lot about the Australian Cattle Dog breed and how best to maintain tip top condition and avoid any potential health problems.
All of our dogs are tested for PRA, are hip scored and hearing tested. Our own pack of Australian Cattle Dogs, Matilda and Bundy, are registered in France – both also have truly super temperaments and are great with children.
All Kulnara Cattle Dog puppies are sold with BAER hearing tests, are chipped, vaccinated and wormed.
